Inspiring STEM Stories
Inspiring STEM Stories is an initiative to showcase STEM career stories through an online library of engaging videos. At Women in Technology WA our tagline is “if you can see her, you can be her” and this is especially important when representing the diversity of careers open to young people. By bringing visibility to the variety of STEM careers, and the pathways to these careers, we can empower the next generation to start on their own STEM journey.
Are you a woman working in STEM? We are calling on YOU to submit a video about your own career journey.
Your video will be featured in our online Inspiring STEM Stories video gallery, and may be featured in a showcase reel.

FAQs
How long does my video need to be?
Anywhere from 2 to 8 minutes is a good length.
What question cards or sections should I include?
This is entirely up to you. A good start is usually an introduction, a few details about your career journey (education or job background, what you love about your career, or skills you use) and some advice for anyone who wants to work in your industry.
I feel silly when I am recording or keep messing up – what can I do?
Grab a buddy and get them to ask you questions, and remember it is ok not to record the whole thing in one go.
